The VMAs now have an official cocktail — and you can make it at home!

This year’s VMAs will be a celebration of50 years of Hip Hopculture and music and the beverage pays tribute to one of the genre’s greats: The Notorious B.I.G.

The “Mojito Mo-Problems” is an homage to the iconic rapper’s 1997 hit featuring Mase andSean “Diddy” Combs, who will also be honored with theglobal icon awardat the event.

Bacardi also dreamed up two additional drinks for the big night: the BACARDÍ 808, a blend of rum, banana liqueur and angostura bitters garnished with orange; and the Mango Fuego, which includes mango chile rum and grapefruit juice, topped with tajin and lime.

Whether mixing up themed beverages or hosting an at-home watch party, fans can expect a magical music-filled night.

On Saturday, it was announced Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion will perform their new collaboration “Bongos,” which marks the two Grammy winners' first follow-up since their hit “WAP" — which theyperformed together during the 2021 VMAs.

Other musiciansconfirmed to perform this yearincludeAnitta,Demi Lovato,Doja Cat,Karol G,Kelsea Ballerini,Lil Wayne,Måneskin,Olivia RodrigoandStray Kids.

Shakirawill also be honored with thevideo vanguard award.

1 1/2 oz. rum

3/4 oz. lime juice

1/2 oz. mint syrup

1/2 oz. passionfruit syrup

2 oz. club soda

5-6 fresh mint leaves

1.Combine rum, lime juice, syrups and mint leaves in a shaker tin with ice and shake vigorously.

2.Strain into a cup over fresh ice and top with a splash of club soda, stir to incorporate. Garnish with a mint sprig.
