Shemar Mooreis planning to spend as much time as he can with his daughter.
TheS.W.A.T.actor, 53, opened up on the latest episode ofTheJennifer Hudson Showabout how he is enjoying fatherhood after welcoming 13-month-old daughterFrankie Meleinewith his girlfriendJesiree Dizonin January 2023.
Describing fatherhood, Moore admitted, “You know, it’s crazy. It’s crazy.”
“[Are] there any more [babies] in the works?”Jennifer Hudsonasked, to which the actor replied, “Right now, I’m enjoying what I got.”
He went on to explain that he was an only child and his mother was “all about me,” so he was enjoying spoiling his daughter with attention. He also noted that he was still getting the hang of fatherhood as opposed to Dizon, who is mom to two children from previous relationships.
He added that he hoped to have enough time with his daughter to teach her everything he could.

“I look at little Frankie and I’m like, God willing, I’m 53 years old so, give me 37 years,” he said. “That gets me to 90 [years-old]. That’s a full life for me.”
“Maybe too soon for her, but trust me in those 37 years, my daughter’s gonna have game,” he continued. “She’s gonna know what time it is. She’s gonna know she’s somebody.”
“The rest of whatever life I have left, I want to continue to do my thing and be successful, but I just want to make her proud and give her everything I got,” he added.

Earlier this month, in an interview withEntertainment Tonight, the actor opened up about his relationship with Frankie, calling her the “last piece of my puzzle.”
Moore also shared that having a child hasshifted his priorities, telling the outlet, “I get the opportunity to be daddy. And now it’s not about me anymore. Now everything I do is for [Frankie]…I got the most amazing, beautiful little lady…she’s a happy lady.”
