Rebel Wilsonis spilling details of her forthcoming memoir.ThePitch Perfectalum, 43, spoke about the “gut-wrenching” process of writing her bookRebel Rising— set to be published on April 2 — in a video on Wednesday. She also gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her signing some copies.
In theInstagram Story clip, Wilson autographed printed pages from her book as she narrated the video.
“This is how I’m spending my nights of my holidays,” she said. “Just another few thousand to go for the first people that buy the book.”
“You guys, I mean, I can’t wait for you to read this,” shecontinuedof her memoir. “You’re going to see a whole new side of me. Lots of funny stuff, and serious stuff … And hopefully you guys will love the book as much as I’ve loved writing it — although sometimes its been gut-wrenching and emotional.”

“Four thousand more to go. Let’s go,” Wilson added.

The Australian star also admitted that she wasn’t happy with the opening of the book as she struggled to be herself in her writing.
