Lance Basshopes fans will forgiveJustin Timberlake.

The former*NSYNCband member, 44, recently spoke up about his thoughts on the recentbacklash his former bandmate has been gettingafterBritney Spearsmade several revelations about their previous relationship in her memoirThe Woman in Me.

“Look, I mean everyone has their own opinion,” Bass said, according to avideo released on TMZ. “I just feel like the world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice a little forgiveness.”

“Britney did. So, let’s take a note from her,” he added.

The “Better Place” singer, who appeared to be at the airport, noted that he already purchased Spears’ memoir and was planning to “read it on the plane.”

“Everyone deserves to tell their story,” Bass shared. “She did and, you know, I hope the fans can again find some forgiveness.”

Though he has not yet commented on Spears' revelations, Timberlake has expressed regret for his past behavior and shared support for Spears as she sought to end her13-year conservatorship, which wasofficially terminated in November 2021.

“We should all be supporting Britney at this time. Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter at the time. “No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body. No one should EVER be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for.”
