After more than a decade-long relationship,Jesse Metcalfeand Cara Santana have split.
A source tells PEOPLE that theDesperate Housewivesactor and the actress-fashion blogger went their separate ways three weeks ago.
However, another source close to Santana tells PEOPLE that the pair didn’t break up until Wednesday.
“She was wearing her ring yesterday,” the source close to Santana says. “She had no idea things weren’t fine until she saw thephotos online today. I promise they never broke up until today.”
“Cara is not going to comment and asks that everyone please respect her privacy at this time,” a rep for Santana tells PEOPLE.
News of their split comes days after Metcalfe, 41, was photographed getting cozy with a woman at a bar in Sherman Oaks, California, over the weekend.

Metcalfe and Santana, 35, who have been in a relationship for more than 10 years, gotengagedin August 2016.
In September of that year,Santana told PEOPLEthat she and theJohn Tucker Must Dieactor were planning on getting married in 2018.
Although she hadn’t started wedding planning at the time, Santana did have a few ideas in mind.
“Small, intimate, 80 people, Martha’s Vineyard — call it a day,” she said of the couple’s special day.
One month after getting engaged, Santana said she was feeling at peace.
“I think there’s a sense of calm,” she shared.
“There’s a sense of unspoken security that when you’re not engaged maybe there’s like an underlying uncertainty,” she continued.
“Now that we’re engaged I feel this total sense of calmness,” she shared. “Like we’ll get to the wedding. We’ve got the rest of our lives.”
Metcalfe and Santana spent Christmas 2019 in Belgium and last appeared on a red carpet together at The Art Of Elysium Presents We Are Hear’s Heaven 2020 event on Jan. 4 in Los Angeles.
