The Masked Singer’sGroup B went off to see the wizard when they made their debut on Wednesday’sThe Wizard of Oznight.
The show began with season 4 winnerLeAnn Rimes(Sun) singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” and judgesKen Jeong,Jenny McCarthy,Rita OraandRobin Thickedressed up as the 1939 movie’s main characters
First up for Group B: Gumball.
In Gumball’s clue package, the candy machine explained that their “heart took quite a beating because my yellow brick road to success came with zero directions.”
The package revealed a heart on a map of the American South, a drum set, a spider and a horse-drawn carriage.
“I did anything and everything to get an audience,” Gumball said. “I beatboxed on the street. I performed at theme parks and even got booed of the stage at a competition — for winning.”

“I hope he wins,” said McCarthy, 52.
A heart clock served as Gumball’s extra clue before the panelists made their guesses.
“Deep down, at the end of the day, Tin Man always had the heart of a superhero — and I actually might, too,” Gumball stated.
The judges thought Gumball might beChace Crawford,Jamie DornanorKevin Jonas.
“Long ago, I was living life in Technicolor,” Miss Cleocatra said in her clue package that also showed Bel-Air and a “vacay” luggage tag. “But I always worried the empire I built would all crumble beneath me.”

The regal cat alluded to mental health issues, discussing life “going from gorgeous rainbow to horrendous black and white” until a “diagnosis” made everything “crystal clear.”
Miss Cleocatra affirmed, “I’m so glad I reached out for help.”
Miss Gulch brought out an extra clue for Miss Cleocatra: a wand with a star.
“I’ve already worked my magic on an Emmy award-winning show,” Miss Cleocatra said.
Loretta Devine,Taraji P. HensonandSheryl Lee Ralpharose as options for Miss Cleocatra’s identity.
“Just like the Lion, every single day I tell myself to be brave,” Afghan Hound said.

The dog said in her clue package that, as a kid, “I would dream about what life could be like over the rainbow.”
The Men in Black delivered a badge of courage for Afghan Hound’s additional clue.
The judges suspected Afhgan Hound could beBethenny Frankel,Brooke Hogan,Olivia JadeorSistine Stallone.
Beets closed out the night. The veggies drew inspiration from Dorothy and Toto “because of loyalty as friends.”
“Home for us has been wherever were together,” one Beet said in their clue package. “And for a moment, we had millions of eyes on us.”

“Yeah, 40 million of them,” the second Beet chimed in.
Playing cards, the two of hearts, aBeeting the Oddsbook and a radio popped up in the clue package.
“All we need now is to find the nerve to turn up together on this stage,” the second Beet continued. “It’ll be like going back to our roots.”
“That was just perfect,” said Jeong, 54.

A real Toto dog scampered on stage as Beets’ extra clue.
“Like Toto and Dorothy, we’re the best of friends,” one Beet said.
The other added, “And we’re pretty good costars too.”
The panel floatedWill ArnettandJason Bateman,K-Ci and JoJo, andSteve MartinandMartin Shortas possibilities for Beets.
Once all of Group B gave their first performances, the audience voted for their favorite of the night. The two contestants with the fewest votes would battle it out in the Smackdown.
That meant Afghan Hound would head home and pop off their mask. When Afghan Hound unleashed the mane,Chrisley Knows Best’sSavannah Chrisleyappeared.
“Honestly, over the past year my life has changed drastically, I lost both my parents to the federal system and nowI have custodyof my 15-year-old brother [Grayson] and 10-year-old sister [Chloe],” the reality star, 26, said after being unmasked. “If I could teach them anything, it’s to take every opportunity that comes your way and don’t back down.”

Chrisley shared that she went on the show because her parentsToddandJuliecould watch itfrom prison.
“I know singing is not for me — I don’t know what a note is, nor do I know what rhythm is,” theSpecial Forcesalum said. “But it was a good experience!”
