Marvel ’s next raid into TV , Inhumans , has just cast its first wiz . It ’s Iwan Rheon , who most masses know as the deplorable Ramsay Bolton from Game of Thrones . He ’s playing Maximus , pal to the king and a major thorn in the side of Black Bolt .
“ Maximus is a complex type , ” said showrunner Scott Buck . “ Likable , charming , tragical and villainous all in the same moment , and I ’m very excited to have someone of Iwan ’s considerable talent . ”
Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb added that “ Iwan ’s ability to be charming , roguish and still completely unexpectedly dangerous were all the different sides we require to bring the reference to liveliness . We ’re thrilled to have him on board . ”
The show is expected to debut Labor Day weekend in 1,000 IMAX theaters across the nation before settling into a normal slot on ABC . Rheon is the first member of the cast .
