Deadline first broke the word and reportsthe film will “ keep abreast the other days of Dick Grayson and Jason Todd aka the Robins . ” Of note though is that when fans hear the intelligence “ Dynamic Duo , ” we do n’t think of two Robins . We intend one Robin and one Batman . So we ’ll see how , or if , that play in .

This all sounds very intriguing and interesting , but we have question . head like , what exactly does marionette living look like ? Well , the plastic film is being produced by a company call Swaybox;if you inspect its site , its style wee you think of something like Laika . So maybe a sort ofCoraline - esque aspect , but in the DC Universe . Deadline describes it as “ a cross between CGI aliveness , practical elements of stop - movement , and live - military action real - time functioning . The result is farsighted - form storytelling that is billed to be visually breathless , dynamically expressive , and more human . ”
Written by Matthew Aldrich , Dynamic Duowill be lead by Arthur Mintz , one of the co - founder of Swaybox along with Theresa Andersson . DC Studio chiefs Gunn and Peter Safran are among the producers along with Matt Reeves , manager ofThe Batman .
“ I have wanted to make a picture with Arthur and Swaybox for many years , and for that film to beDynamic Duo , an unbelievably especial and unique Batman and Robin history for families , is a dream , ” Reeves told the trade . But , despite his upheaval , the photographic film will not be part of Reeves ’ universe . It could , hypothetically , act as an origin narration for the big DC Universe or fit into its Elseworlds streamer but it ’s undecipherable at the moment if it ’s one or the other . When asked where the film correspond in , a germ unaired to the production only confirmed the news that it ’s not part of Reeves ’ universe of discourse .
This is fascinating though , right ? We ’ve arrive an alive show , Creature Commandos , kick back off the Gunn / Safran DC Universe .
