It ’s terrible news , especially considering it seems rather sudden to its creative team — and because the series has been in the news program again recently thanks to the newfangled hardcover loss of what is now the “ complete ” serial . But it ’s also sad because Legend did an absolutely fantastic occupation of retelling Diana ’s origin narration , onethat ’s been re - imagined and re - worked many clock time over the years .
Legend of Wonder Woman took a boring approach that so many descent tale rarely get , follow Diana ’s life on Themiscyra and her kinship with her female parent , and then into the early days of her superheroic life history , that gave the story time to breathe and lent a veridical sense of growth and progression to Wonder Woman . It was one of our favourite comic of the class , and we ’ll be sad to see no more of it come 2017 .
