We talked with Agent Coulson ( Clark Gregg ) , Skye ( Chloe Bennet ) , Melinda May ( Ming - Na Wen ) , Lance Hunter ( Nick Blood ) , Bobbi Morse ( Adrianne Palicki ) , and others to get the goop on what ’s next for agentive role of SHIELD after the striking end to season two .
Gregg says that he does n’t think the challenge to Coulson ’s leadership are over — when you ’re the “ everyman chieftain , ” the great unwashed are always snuff it to keep come at you . But Skye is Coulson ’s “ mystical weapon . ” And Gregg oblige off on what threats lurk in SHIELD ’s future :
“ One of the reasons why he ’s put together the Secret warrior [ is ] , I feel like HYDRA always … you cut off one school principal and others appear . I do n’t believe we ’ve heard the last from them . I sense like there ’s some disgruntled Inhumans out there , likely , and I call back we ’ll expose some more of them . The whole world of SHIELD has become more fluid and changing , and Nick Fury ’s out there . ”
And Bennett articulate that she hop that the Inhumans and SHIELD will work together . Skye always went through being torn between SHIELD and the Inhumans , and she hop they do n’t have to deal with that again any time soon .
Meanwhile , Blood and Palicki gibe their characters will make nice ( Bobbi take a bullet for Lance will facilitate fix all sort of fencing . ) And lying is n’t anything new — it ’s what their whole human relationship has been base on .
Ming - Na Wen say her fiber still believes that Coulson “ has great purpose . ” Luke Mitchell ( Lincoln Campbell ) reveals one of his favorite line from the season finale ; and Henry Simmons ( Mack ) hopes that “ Inhumans of unity ” are out there .
OH ALSO Gregg and Bennet do the robot dancing . Yay !
