Thousands of “ the sorry families in England ” are being put in “ sine bin , ” or subsidise housing fit with closed - electrical circuit cameras . The cameras will be used to ensure that children do their homework and go to bottom on time . Holy shit .
The justification for this action at law is that if kids have structure upbringings , they wo n’t get sucked into street crime and drugs . And because the housing is subsidized , the government is n’t technically putting cameras in private homes ; these are public homes .
But still , the precedent this lot is terrifying . This is the definition of a nanny state , a politics that does n’t confide its citizens to live their life autonomously so it sticks its nose into every little prospect of them for their own good .
