There’sa lot to enjoyaboutSpider - humans : No Way Home , but the most awkward part of the entire pic has always been how two franchises of Spider - Men were brought into theMarvel Cinematic existence : Doctor Strangecasually trying to spew a spell to make the world blank out Peter Parker is Spidey , only to get distracted , get laid it up , and tear some major holes in the multiverse . Cumberbatch has a justification for the ex - Sorcerer Supreme ’s legal action , but … it ’s not a particularly good one .

So the patch was done very disdainfully , it was half - assed , and then Strange left Peter to clean up the mess . Even if Cumberbatch is right and Strange had the noblest of reason underneath his dickish demeanour , he still wangle to be an asshole and tough at his Book of Job . That ’s the problem . But at least it extend to a extremely entertaining movie .
