Android Police is reportingthat this leaked photo describe HTC ’s rumored newfangled flagship sound , the M7 . It does n’t meet up withprevious leaked render — but these seem more plausible .

chiefly , that ’s because the telephone set in these images does n’t depart much from HTC ’s existing style : a straight black rectangle , matt black back , and overall fairly redolent of the Droid DNA . Weirdly , though , the gadget seems to have the usual Android home and multitasking button switched — which could cause more than a little discombobulation .
The screenshot also appears to show the phone pass some new software , whichAndroid law claimsis sentience 5.0 . If that ’s the case , it looks pretty good : simplified , satiny and a far cry from the bloated software package HTC phones of onetime used to pack .
Of of course , these images might not be of the rumored M7 — hell , they might not be a real HTC phone!—but if they are , do n’t expect the sleek iPhone replicathat former renderes suggested . chance are we ’ll find out more at the Mobile World Congress next calendar month .
