A teaser house trailer dropped Friday morningand , in distinctive Marvel mode , it ’s fulfill with hints and clues as to what consultation can expect when the motion-picture show impinge on theaters February 14 , 2025 . With Steve Rogers off … somewhere , Anthony Mackie officially takes on the pall of Cap;he genius alongside Harrison Ford , Danny Ramirez , Carl Lumbly , Giancarlo Esposito , Liv Tyler , and Tim Blake Nelson , almost all of whom we see in the preview .

Here are the 13 most interesting things we noticed in the trailer .

Thaddeus Ross recast

Not only is Harrison Ford making his MCU debut in the film , he ’s taking over the purpose of Thaddeus Ross . Ross has been around his 2008’sThe Incredible Hulkbut was play by William Hurt until his slip by in 2022 . That ’s why Sam makes the joke about his “ new look ” and Ross explain why he does n’t have a mustache anymore .

A new Black Widow

The trailer devote us a few fast glance of a unexampled character played by Shira Haas . Named Ruth , she ’s believed to be the Marvel part Sabra . In this world , she ’s a former member of the Black Widow programme who now shape with Ross for the U.S. authorities .

A new baddie

fabled actor Giancarlo Esposito appears a few times in the lagger as what is likely a villain . The rumor is he ’s playing a character name George Washington Bridge , but that ’s unconfirmed at the moment .

Eternalsisland

One of the big rumor this trailer confirms is that the island left at the end ofEternals(remember when the giant heavenly Tiamut basically freezes on Earth ? ) will play a role here . You see it a few times in the background of guessing , like the missile fire early in the prevue , then again later .

Isaiah triggered

You only get a glance of it here but in the picture , Isaiah ( Carl Lumbly)—who we first met inThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier — has some deep - seatedcode triggered which have him to unwillingly go on a rampagetrying to vote down the president . This , of course , is reminiscent of what Sam and Steve ’s buddy Bucky had happen to him .

Lab experiments

Probably jumping off that Isaiah hooey , we see Sam enquire some sorting of research laboratory . Our guess is this links to whoever was able to actuate Isaiah . Plus , labs in the world ofCaptain Americaare always important .

Multiple Captain America suits

The trailer feature at least two , and maybe more , Captain America wooing . We see the one above , which seems to be the one Sam had at the end ofThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier , as well as the bluer one in other scenes . Our guess is that mean this fit is from early in the moving-picture show .

The Leader returns

One of the more interesting things aboutBrave New Worldis how it ’s tying back to the 2d MCU motion picture : The Incredible Hulk . Thaddeus Ross is in this , of course of study , as are Liv Tyler ( who does n’t come along in this dawdler ) and Tim Blake Nelson ; he play Samuel Sterns , aka the Leader . He appears briefly , as project above , and is also the one speaking about how “ spheric power is wobble . ” Speaking of which …

Global Unity Summit

As the Leader talks about how “ planetary big businessman is tilt ” we see that Sam , Ross , and others are at an event called the Global Unity Summit . Seems like a dependable place to shift that unity , does it not ?

Xosha Roquemore

Another new graphic symbol appears briefly in the lagger . It looks like a Secret Service agent who we see alongside Haas ’ Ruth fibre . This woman is played by actress Xosha Roquemore in her MCU first appearance .

DC destruction

The MCU has leveled many , many cities before , butCaptain America : Brave New Worldwill be the first to level Washington DC . We can see this by , plain , the shot of the White House being destruct ( possibly by a persona mentioned below ) and the destruction among one of the city ’s touch image : the cherry blossoms .

A new Falcon

It ’s only in there super briefly , but there is a barb of Sam ’s Captain America aviate alongside another character . This is the new Falcon , Joaquín Torres played by Danny Ramirez , do his magnanimous first appearance as the hero .

Red Hulk, duh

The big , and most obvious , reveal in the house trailer is thatBrave New Worlddoes , in fact , have the Red Hulk in it — a character we assume is actually Thaddeus Ross . But is he a friend to Sam Wilson ? Or a enemy ? We just do n’t know yet .
